How We Love, Mark Lowry’s 17th CD, was inspired during a recent visit from Mark’s friend Cynthia Clawson, when she sat down at the piano and sang the song “How We Love,” written by Beth Nielsen Chapman. “It’s a spectacular song saying how we behave toward and treat people is what they will remember,” explains Mark. “It’s not so much what we say; it’s how we made them feel.”
Other titles on the new project include Loretta Lynn’s bluegrass classic, “Everybody Wants to Go to Heaven, but Nobody Wants to Die,” “Come As You Are,” written by Reba Rambo McGuire and Chip Davis, and “Mary Was the First One to Carry the Gospel,” which Mark co-wrote with Bill Gaither. And, Jimmy Yeary and Sonya Isaacs Yeary sing along on the sweet song they co-wrote, “Old People.”
Recorded in Nashville and produced by Kevin Williams, How We Love features a who’s who of guest vocalists, including the Martins, Shane McConnell, Charlotte Ritchie, Dailey & Vincent, Sisters, Amber Balltzglier, Chip Davis, Shelly Justice and the Bethel University Renaissance Choir.
